Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc. is seeking a 3rd Shift Senior Process Control Technician for a cold-chamber die casting operation in Cedarburg, WI.

You will monitor and optimize high-pressure aluminum die casting processes and respond to defects to maximize first-pass yield. Qualifications

• Career stability of 2+ years at each previous employer.
• 2+ years of hands-on process control experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must reside within a 45-minute maximum commute of Cedarburg, WI area.
• High School Diploma or GED required; technical diploma or vocational degree preferred.
• Must be fully authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize die casting process parameters including melt temperature, shot profile, injection speed and cycle times.
• Analyze and resolve casting defects such as porosity, cold shuts, soldering, blisters, flash, misruns, and thermal shrinkage.
• Review X-ray data and maximize first-pass yield.
• Set up and fine-tune process parameters for launches, die tryouts, and production runs.
• Maintain process setup sheets and operating instructions for setup techs and operators.
• Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to validate changes and reduce scrap.
• Train operators and setup technicians on standardized parameters and best practices.
