Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is hiring for a Distribution Center Supervisor to manage reception, delivery and control of merchandise within a third-shift operation (9:00 pm – 6:30 am).

The role oversees inventory, safety and performance, with a pay range of $76,500.00 to $122,400.00. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree or has 3+ years of relevant experience, and is prepared to supervise teams, coordinate workflow and collaborate with management to meet objectives in a dynamic logistics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; OR 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Third shift availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises support roles with responsibility for performance review/management and training
• Sets day-to-day objectives, organizes workflow, provides guidance, and supports achievement of goals for team
• Leverages prior experience to solve issues using latitude of existing guidelines, also recommending changes within specialization policies/procedures
• Works closely with specialization manager
• Communicates regularly with management and infrequently with executive leadership
• Other duties as assigned
