Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center supervisor/manager to oversee receiving, delivery, and control of merchandise, ensuring budgets, safety, and inventory controls are in place.

The role directs distribution activities, inventory, and customer service while coordinating with management and staff. The position operates on a third shift (9:00 pm–6:30 am) and requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, or 3+ years in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; OR 3+ years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Supervises support roles with responsibility for performance review/management and training
• Sets day-to-day objectives, organizes workflow, provides guidance, and supports achievement of goals for team
• Leverages prior experience to solve issues using latitude of existing guidelines, also recommending changes within specialization policies/procedures
• Works closely with specialization manager
• Communicates regularly with management and infrequently with executive leadership
• Other duties as assigned
• This is a third shift position - 9:00 pm - 6:30 am.

Education
