Job summary

Element Critical in Wood Dale, Illinois is seeking an Operations Technician I who will support critical infrastructure operations, site security, shipping and receiving, and customer support via ticketing systems.

You will play a key role in maintaining operational uptime, responding to alerts, and delivering excellent customer service through hands‑on technical assistance in network and infrastructure installations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required with 2–4 years in Security Operations, Data Center Operations or Customer Service.
• Familiarity with security system hardware/software, data center monitoring tools and help desk technologies.
• Proficient in MS Office suite and strong written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform Site Security functions including visitor check‑in, badge processing and access control enrollment.
• Process Site Access Request NetSuite cases and Shipping/Receiving NetSuite cases.
• Monitor ticketing queues, acknowledge customer requests, and respond to alerts.
• Assist with network circuit troubleshooting and installation tasks.
• Maintain records in site databases and service order systems.
