Job summary

Edged Data Centers is seeking a Data Center Facility Technician for night shift at ORD, based in Aurora, IL. You will monitor and maintain critical infrastructure, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to alarm conditions to ensure uptime.

You will work with cross-functional teams, document actions in the CMMS, follow safety procedures, and support vendors and customers on site. The role requires physical capability and willingness to work nights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred.
• 1–3 years of data center or facilities experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and fire/life safety systems.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and document in CMMS.
• Respond to abnormal conditions and stabilize systems.
• Provide on-site support for customers, vendors, and contractors.
• Collaborate with IT/Facilities/Operations for smooth project execution.
