Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield seeks a Critical Facilities Technician to support 24/7 data center operations. You will monitor electrical/mechanical systems, respond to alarms, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance with a focus on uptime and safety.

Role requires hands-on experience with UPS, generators, HVAC, and building automation; shift flexibility including nights; and strong troubleshooting and safety knowledge in NFPA/NEC/OSHA frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience in data center operations or critical facilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC, and building automation systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and electrical one-lines.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• Use BMS/EPMS/DCIM to monitor status and respond to alarms.
• Execute SOPs/MOPs/EOPs accurately and consistently.
• Coordinate and oversee vendor work and maintain shift logs and maintenance records.
• Perform rounds, inspections, and routine checks to prevent downtime.
