Job summary

Reykjavik Creamery in Pennsylvania’s Cumberland Valley is seeking a Dairy Technician for the night shift to support pasteurization, sanitation, and batch processing of premium cultured dairy products. You will follow GMPs, monitor production, document results, and work with impact across departments to maximize throughput while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of dairy manufacturing experience; HTST pasteurization preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and work non-standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Pasteurize all milk products while following SOPs and GMPs.
• Sanitize equipment and maintain cleaning records.
• Monitor production processes and batch quality.
• Prepare and maintain production paperwork accurately.
• Report any food safety or quality issues promptly.
• Operate equipment at recommended speeds and coordinate with teams.
