Reykjavik Creamery in the Cumberland Valley, PA, is seeking a Quality Technician for a night shift (6pm–6am) with an additional 4-hour shift. This on-site role drives the QA program, develops testing systems, and maintains compliance with food safety standards including Kosher, Organic, Non-GMO and SQF.

You will conduct product testing, audits, data analysis, and training to improve quality performance while supporting operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Food Technology or related science preferred; high school diploma required.
• Three to five years of experience in a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong analytical abilities.
• Supervisory and leadership capabilities and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Supports development and implementation of QA processes to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Serves as PCQI in the food safety program and ensures adherence to standards.
• Performs raw material and finished product testing and data analysis.
• Maintains audits and compliance with Kosher, Organic, Non-GMO, and SQF requirements.
• Identifies issues, conducts root cause analysis and coordinates corrective actions.
• Ensures supplier quality specifications and conducts supplier audits as needed.
