Job summary

Maola Local Dairies® in Philadelphia, PA, is hiring a Pasteurizer to ensure pasteurization and homogenization of dairy products following GMP and HACCP standards. Under the Production Supervisor/Manager, you will operate equipment, monitor quality, and document processes.

The position runs Wednesday–Sunday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM with potential overtime for coverage and holidays. Competitive union benefits apply, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer match, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma with higher education or certification required.
• Three (3) years of experience in a Pasteurizing role or similar role preferred.
• Two (2) years in a manufacturing facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Batch and pasteurize dairy products following formulation and standards.
• Monitor process parameters and SOPs; report deficiencies.
• Operate pasteurizing and homogenizing equipment; perform basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain sanitation and CIP/SIP procedures; keep area paperwork up to date.
• Adhere to HACCP, GMP, and food safety requirements; follow SQF program.
