Job summary

Maola Local Dairies in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Pasteurizer for a nighttime on-site role (Wed–Sun, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM). You will operate pasteurization and homogenization equipment, monitor HACCP and QA processes, and ensure batch integrity in dairy production.

The position offers union benefits, wage progression from $25.79 to $32.24 per hour with overtime opportunities, and requires a high school diploma with 3 years of pasteurizing experience, plus 2 years in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three (3) years of pasteurizing experience preferred.
• Two (2) years in a manufacturing facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Batch and pasteurize in the production of finished dairy goods.
• Monitor the dairy production process and follow SOPs; track fats, solids, allergens, and other critical parameters.
• Operate pasteurizer and homogenizer; troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Follow batch sheets and formulations; ensure food safety, QA, and GMP compliance.
• Document area paperwork and maintain sanitation; support SQF program.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
