Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a PRN / Pool CT Technologist for Night Shift to perform advanced CT imaging under a Radiologist. You will produce high-quality images, ensure patient safety, and support efficient workflow in a fast-paced hospital environment.

The role requires ARRT-CT certification within six months of hire, an associate degree in radiologic technology, and BLS certification, with ongoing credential maintenance. This PRN position supports Grady’s mission and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Registered Technologist in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures per established protocols under radiologist direction.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for clinical interpretation.
• Monitor patient safety, comfort, and care during imaging procedures.
• Operate CT scanners and related imaging technologies to obtain diagnostic studies.
• Support efficient patient flow and examination throughput during shifts.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation in compliance with standards.
• Maintain licensure, certification, and continuing education compliance.

Education

Associate’s Degree from an approved school of Radiologic Technology

ARRT Registered Technologist

BLS certification

ARRT-CT certification within six months of hire

NMTCB certification maintenance of license
