Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a PRN / Pool CT Technologist for the Evening shift to perform advanced CT imaging procedures under Radiologist direction. This role produces high-quality diagnostic images, supports patient safety and comfort, and contributes to efficient imaging operations in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The CT Technologist will operate CT scanners, adhere to protocols, and maintain licensure and certification while delivering patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• ARRT Registered Technologist status required.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT-CT certification within 6 months of hire, if applicable.
• Maintain ARRT/NMTCB licensure with continuing education credits.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures per established protocols and radiologist direction.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images to support interpretation.
• Monitor and support patient safety, comfort, and care during procedures.
• Utilize CT scanners and related imaging technologies for diagnostic studies.
• Support efficient patient flow and examination throughput during shifts.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with standards.
• Maintain licensure, certification, and continuing education requirements.
