Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a PRN / Pool CT Technologist on Evening shift to perform advanced computed tomography imaging procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. The CT Technologist ensures high-quality diagnostic images and maintains patient safety, comfort, and care throughout imaging processes.

The role requires ARRT-CT certification within six months of hire if applicable, ARRT registration, and BLS certification, with a patient-centered approach in a fast-paced clinical

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology from an approved program.
• Registered with ARRT as a Registered Technologist.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT-CT certification within six months of hire, if applicable.
• Maintain ARRT/NMTCB continuing education credits and license renewal.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures per established protocols and radiologist direction.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for clinical interpretation.
• Monitor patient safety, comfort, and care during procedures.
• Utilize CT scanners and related imaging technologies for diagnostic studies.
• Support efficient patient flow and examination throughput during shifts.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation per standards.
• Maintain licensure and continuing education compliance.
