Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Full-Time CT Technologist to perform advanced computed tomography imaging procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. This role emphasizes producing high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT registration or eligibility for ARRT-CT certification within six months, and a current BLS certification, with ongoing

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
  • ARRT registration required; ARRT-CT certification preferred or eligible within 6 months of hire.
  • BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with established imaging protocols and radiologist direction.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images to support accurate clinical interpretation.
  • Monitor and support patient safety, comfort, and care throughout imaging procedures.
  • Utilize CT scanners and related imaging technologies to perform diagnostic studies.
  • Support efficient patient flow and examination throughput.
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and departmental standards.
  • Maintain compliance with licensure, certification, and continuing education requirements.
