Job summary

Wellstar Cobb in Austell, Georgia seeks a FT Weekend Night CT Technologist to join a collaborative imaging team. You will perform CT procedures, ensure diagnostic-quality images, and maintain patient safety during night shifts in a busy radiology department.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and ensure diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose levels.
• Disinfect rooms/equipment and report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and patient identifiers.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Document exams accurately in RIS/PACS and manage data transfers.
• Monitor patient condition and assist with emergencies as needed.
• Support department workflow and maintain stocked, orderly areas.
