Job summary

Wellstar Cobb in Austell, Georgia is seeking a FT Weekend Night CT Technologist to join a collaborative imaging team. You will perform CT procedures, ensure high-quality images, and maintain patient safety and comfort during night shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography); ARRT-CT; BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and dose optimization (ALARA).
• Disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Verify orders and two unique patient identifiers before exams; obtain history.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients; address questions and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care.
• Complete accurate documentation and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; manage transfers as needed.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; assist with crash cart readiness.
