Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, BLS.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and ensure diagnostic quality.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain ALARA doses.
• Disinfect, clean and restock rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care using AIDET to reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Document and finalize studies in RIS/PACS and manage transfers as needed.
• Assist with workflow, transport patients safely, and support department operations.
