Job summary

Wellstar Cobb in Austell, Georgia is seeking a FT Weekend Night CT Technologist. You will perform CT procedures, operate radiologic equipment safely, and maintain diagnostic image quality while minimizing patient dose. Strong teamwork and patient communication are essential.

Responsibilities include patient history verification, ADIET-style communication, and accurate RIS/PACS documentation. The role offers weekend night shifts, competitive hourly pay, and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology
• ARRT-R (Radiography)
• ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and minimize dose (ALARA)
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules
• Verify orders and two unique patient identifiers; obtain clinical history
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions to reduce anxiety
• Document exams in RIS/PACS and manage transfers/retrievals
• Support department workflow and keep areas orderly and stocked
