Job summary

Wellstar Cobb in Austell, Georgia is seeking a FT Weekend Night CT Technologist to join a collaborative care team. You will perform CT procedures, maintain high safety and image quality, and support patient care from check-in to discharge in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers night shifts, a Saturday-Sunday-Monday schedule, and a sign-on bonus as part of the Wellstar Total Rewards program. Relevant radiology certifications and at least 1 year of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology is preferred.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT certifications are required; BLS is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and obtain quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and patient identifiers; explain procedures using AIDET.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care.
• Perform exams and administer contrast using venipuncture and sterile technique.
• Position patients, apply markers and shielding; review images for diagnostic acceptability.
• Complete documentation in RIS/PACS and manage transfers/retrievals as needed.
• Monitor patient condition; respond to emergencies and help restock life-support equipment.
• Organize daily workflows and support department flow; ensure compliance and stocking.
