Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT examinations and ensure patient safety and comfort. You will operate imaging equipment, document in EMR/PACS, and collaborates with radiologists to deliver accurate diagnoses.

The role requires knowledge of CT procedures, scanners, and radiation safety, with an emphasis on ALARA and patient education. This full-time night-shift position is based in Tavares, FL with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic technology required.
• Registered Technologist – Radiography (ARRT) or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations according to provider orders.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR and PACS.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, including scanners, injectors, and monitors.
• Adhere to ALARA principles and radiation safety standards.
• Educate patients about procedures and ensure patient comfort during exams.
