Responsibilities

• Nigh shift --3 days a week 12 hour shifts.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the EMR and PACS systems.
• Educates patients about the exam and completes all exams promptly, maintaining workflow.
• Operates imaging equipment safely, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.
• Follows infection control standards and uses PPE and disinfectants.
• Performs CT examinations per orders and departmental protocols for optimal image quality.
• Reviews patient history to confirm exam appropriateness and identify contraindications.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Positions patients accurately while upholding ALARA radiation safety.
• Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Keeps exam rooms clean, stocked, and safe; notifies when inventory is low.
• Documents daily system QC checks per policy.
