Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida seeks a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT examinations, ensuring optimal image quality and working with radiologists to support accurate diagnoses. You will follow department protocols, prepare IV contrast, educate patients, and maintain EMR/PACS workflow.

The role requires ALARA-compliant practices, strong communication, and the ability to adapt protocols for patients of all ages.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• High School Grad or Equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and according to protocols.
• Educate patients about the exam and obtain consent.
• Follow ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast safely and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team.
