Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando seeks a skilled CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT exams, ensuring accurate imaging per physician orders. You will review patient history, prepare and administer IV contrast, and position patients following ALARA principles.

Collaborating with radiologists and healthcare teams, you will document in EMR/PACS and educate patients about procedures, while maintaining safety, infection control, and timely exam completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• ARRT CT certification or equivalent required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• 1+ year of related work experience required.
• Maintains licensure and registrations as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations per orders and protocols to ensure optimal image quality.
• Review patient history and contraindications; prepare and administer IV contrast with safety.
• Position patients for comfort and safety; maintain ALARA radiological principles.
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of care.
• Document accurately in EMR and PACS systems; educate patients about exams.
