AdventHealth East Orlando and AdventHealth Waterford Lakes ER in Orlando, FL are seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the night shift to support patient care across two locations. You will perform arterial blood gases, manage ventilation, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

Required are an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy, NBRC credential, BLS certification, and 1+ year of critical care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required.
• Field of study: Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• NBRC credential must be maintained as a condition of continued role eligibility.
• BLS and RRT certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Documents and charges for procedures accurately and completely.
• Demonstrates collaboration and teamwork in assisting with patient flow.
• Practices standard precautions and enforces safety regulations.
• Interprets evaluations and test results to determine treatment plans with the team.
• Responds to Code Blue emergencies with CPR per AHA guidelines.
• Performs respiratory and oxygen delivery therapies and recommends delivery methods.
• Obtains and reports arterial blood gases and co-oximetry results.
• Maintains airway management and ventilator support per protocol.
• Assesses patients and makes therapy adjustments with cost/time efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned.
