Job summary

AdventHealth in Celebration, Florida is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the night shift to support critical care patients. You will respond to Code Blue events, manage ventilator support, and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize therapy and patient flow.

Requirements include an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy, NBRC credentials (RRT preferred), BLS, and 1+ year of critical care experience preferred. Night shift with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy (Required).
• NBRC credential maintained; RRT preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Documents and charges for procedures accurately and completely.
• Demonstrates collaboration and teamwork in assisting with patient flow.
• Practices standard precautions and enforces safety regulations according to hospital policies.
• Interprets evaluations and test results to determine appropriate treatment plans in consultation with interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Responds to Code Blue emergencies providing CPR.
• Performs respiratory and oxygen delivery therapies and recommends delivery method per protocol.
• Obtains and analyzes arterial blood gases and reports findings.
