Job summary

Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist I to assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders. Nights shift, full-time, 3 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends.

The role requires an Associate of Science in Respiratory Care and NBRC eligibility. You will operate non-invasive ventilators and ABG analysers, maintain records, and collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality respiratory care.

Qualifications

• Requires AS in Respiratory Care or Cardiopulmonary Sciences.
• Must be eligible for NBRC RRT exam per NBRC guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competency in respiratory therapeutics and in the use of non-invasive ventilators, pulmonary diagnostics, and other equipment required for respiratory care.
• Maintains accurate and precise documentation.
• Demonstrates analytical reasoning and blends patient care management with technical expertise.
• Communicates openly with healthcare team.
• Maintains quality control and maintenance of ABG analyzers and related procedures.
• Keeps regular attendance per Orlando Health policies and standards.
• Maintains compliance with Orlando Health policies.
