Job summary

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – Westover Hills in San Antonio seeks a highly qualified ICU nurse to provide routine and complex care in the Critical Care setting. You will work independently within established treatment plans and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage diverse patient needs.

The role requires 2 years of combined CC and another specialty, BLS/ACLS, and an RN license (state or compact). Night shift 7PM–7AM with full-time commitment and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must have nursing license in good standing.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• Experience in critical care settings and ability to manage complex patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex nursing care following patient treatment plans.
• Demonstrate leadership and collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulations; educate patients and families.
