Job summary

CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital - Westover Hills in San Antonio, TX seeks a competent nurse to provide routine and complex care in a fast-paced setting. The nurse works within ANA standards, administers medications, and delegates tasks to care team as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
• Experience demonstrated in nursing care using nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation).
• Ability to educate patients, families and caregivers as part of care.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care following the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Administers medications and treatments; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, and care provided; delegates to other care providers as needed.
