Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve conveyor systems and material handling equipment in a warehouse environment. The role performs preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and facility equipment to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with conveyors, can work independently, and supports safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Experience with conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and standard maintenance equipment.
Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical components including bearings, rollers, belts, chains, sprockets, motors, and gearboxes.
Assist in troubleshooting basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Observe equipment operation and identify potential mechanical failures or performance issues.
Test equipment following repairs to verify safe and proper operation.
