Job summary

Maersk is seeking an experienced Technical Maintenance Mechanic to join our warehouse and distribution team in the United States. You will perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, installation, and preventive maintenance on conveyor systems and material handling equipment to improve reliability and reduce downtime.

The role requires hands-on expertise with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and electrical controls, plus the ability to read schematics and operate within a safety-conscious

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience in warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or automated material handling.
• Extensive troubleshooting and repair of conveyor systems.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Experience with diagnosing and repairing electrical motor controls and VFDs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic controls-related issues on material handling equipment.
• Maintain and repair conveyors, sortation, gearboxes, motors, VFDs, sensors, bearings, chains, belts, rollers, actuators, and related components.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment such as balers, air compressors, dock equipment, and other warehouse systems.
• Observe equipment, identify root causes, and implement corrective solutions; dismantle and replace defective parts as needed.
• Test equipment after repairs to ensure safe operation; follow preventive maintenance schedules.
