Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Technical Maintenance Mechanic to join our fast-paced warehouse and distribution team in the United States. You will perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, installation, and preventive maintenance on conveyor systems and material handling equipment, ensuring reliability and safe operations.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, experience with conveyors, and the ability to diagnose complex faults.

Qualifications

4+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or automated material handling environment.
Extensive experience troubleshooting and repairing conveyor systems.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic controls-related issues on material handling equipment.
Maintain and repair conveyor systems, sortation equipment, gearboxes, motors, VFDs, sensors, bearings, chains, belts, rollers, actuators, cylinders, and other components.
Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment including balers, carton sealers, air compressors, dock equipment, and other warehouse systems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals; escalate PLC issues when needed.
