Job summary

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is seeking a Technical Maintenance Mechanic in Hopedale, MA to join a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role focuses on advanced troubleshooting, repair, installation and preventive maintenance of conveyor systems and material handling equipment.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical skills and experience with conveyors, VFDs, sensors, and related components.

Qualifications

4+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or automated material handling environment.
Extensive experience troubleshooting and repairing conveyor systems.
Strong knowledge of conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, belts, rollers, pneumatics and hydraulics.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
Experience with troubleshooting tools including multimeters and precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic controls issues on material handling equipment.
Maintain and repair conveyor systems, sortation equipment, gearboxes, motors, VFDs, sensors, bearings, chains, belts, rollers, actuators, cylinders and related components.
Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment such as balers, air compressors, and dock equipment.
Observe equipment in operation and identify root causes of failures; implement corrective solutions.
