Job summary

Maersk in Milford, MA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve conveyor systems and material handling equipment in a warehouse setting. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Experience with conveyor systems in warehouse environments.
Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical components including bearings, rollers, belts, chains, sprockets, motors, and gearboxes.
Assist in troubleshooting basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Observe equipment operation and identify potential mechanical failures or performance issues.
Remove, repair, or replace defective components to restore equipment functionality.
Test equipment following repairs to verify safe and proper operation.
Assist with installation and modification of conveyors and related equipment.
