Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Controls Engineer I for the night shift on our U.S. manufacturing floor.

You will help solve complex problems, lead by example, and mentor teammates while coordinating with multi-functional groups to ensure equipment performance and regulatory compliance. Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical or Mechatronics preferred).
• Experience in a regulated industry is a plus.
• Strong accountability and ownership.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
• Technical software skills listed under Tools/Skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops or participates in development of solutions for assigned project.
• Participates in continuous improvement projects.
• Works with manufacturing on regulatory compliance issues.
• Writes and reports on validation activities.
• Designs and tests equipment; analyzes data and reports results.
• Performs studies on new equipment settings and data during startup.
• Initiates protocols and operating instructions for the project.
• Performs NCR/CAPA investigations and tasks.
• Lead and complete change control activities related to equipment.
• Provide training and technical support on production floor.
• Interprets and recommends changes to operating policies.
• Assist in design, installation and startup of new equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on equipment/systems.
• Coordinate with multi-functional teams for projects.
