Job summary

BD is seeking an Electrical/Controls Technician for the night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with a 3-2-2 rotating schedule. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment across electrical and control systems to keep manufacturing running smoothly.

Responsibilities include reading schematics, wiring investigations, PLC/ladder logic troubleshooting, robotics, vision and labeling systems, and thorough documentation in logs. Strong collaboration with operators is essential.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. with electrical experience required.
• Vocational/Technical School in electrical fundamentals with experience required.
• Associate degree with limited experience acceptable when combined with related schooling.

Responsibilities

• Read machine schematics and diagnose electrical issues.
• Troubleshoot wiring and component problems in production equipment.
• PLC and ladder logic troubleshooting; maintain robotic and vision systems.
• Document work promptly in logs and coordinate with operators/leads.
• Ensure safety and reliability of plant electrical/controls systems.
