Job summary

Baxter International Inc. in North Carolina is seeking a Controls Engineer I for night shift to lead projects on manufacturing equipment and automation.

You will apply lean methods, validate systems, and mentor teammates while delivering reliable solutions to protect patients. This role requires a BS in Engineering, hands-on PLC/HMI experience with Allen-Bradley and motion control, and strong problem-solving.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required (Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronics preferred).
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Strong ownership, leadership and lean manufacturing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develops or participates in development of solutions for assigned projects.
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Leads change control activities related to equipment.
• Designs tests, analyzes data and reports results.
