Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor II to oversee a designated production area, ensuring GMP compliance, productivity, and timely project delivery. You will manage staffing, material flow, and continuous improvement in a high-energy facility.

The role requires a 12-hour night shift on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, with opportunities to lead cross‑functional teams and drive quality and safety standards on the floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 3 years manufacturing experience and 2 years supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated communication, admin and technical leadership skills.
• Ability to lead multiple priorities in a manufacturing plant setting.
• Good troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, process).
• Understanding of maintenance systems (preventive maintenance, CMMS).
• Familiar with regulatory and safety guidelines (cGMP, FDA).
• Able to interact with all levels and lead cross‑functional teams.
• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma/QLP methodologies.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily production, scheduling, staffing, materials, and compliance activities.
• Interview, hire, coach, and develop direct reports; provide performance feedback.
• Review and approve batch and system records; assist in product release timelines.
• Lead continuous improvement projects (5S, visual management, kaizens).
• Ensure GMP/EHS compliance and quality standards across operations.
• Provide training content and verify effective employee training.
• Support equipment validation and process improvements.
• Assist in budget planning and capital expenditure tracking.
