Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Controls Engineer for a night shift on-site in Glendale, AZ. The role focuses on automation support, troubleshooting, and project work to improve throughput and reliability across packaging lines and conveyors.

You will mentor maintenance technicians, coordinate with engineering and quality, and handle documentation and change management for controls upgrades and new installations.

Qualifications

• Four years of industrial automation or controls experience in a high‑speed manufacturing environment.
• Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary on‑shift controls and automation expert.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for automated equipment.
• Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, instrumentation and network issues.
• Develop controls projects to improve safety, quality and throughput.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering and quality teams.
