Job summary

Electrical Automation Services seeks a skilled Controls Engineer for the Chandler, AZ area to support high-speed beverage production on a 2-2-3 night shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. You will serve as the on-shift automation expert, leading PLC/HMI troubleshooting and process improvements.

You will collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to enhance safety, reliability, and throughput, mentor technicians, and manage changes.

Qualifications

Associate degree in engineering technology or related field.
4+ years of industrial automation experience in high-speed manufacturing.
Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.
Experience reading electrical schematics and control drawings.
Ability to work on a 2-2-3 night schedule.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary on-shift controls and automation expert.
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for production equipment.
Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, instrumentation, and network issues.
Identify recurring problems and implement permanent fixes.
Lead and mentor maintenance staff on controls projects.
