Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Construction Manager - Nights for a combined cycle project based in Newnan, GA. The role mobilizes to the site for the project duration and requires extensive on-site leadership over subcontractors, safety, schedule, and cost performance.

Union or union management experience is strongly preferred, with 14+ years of construction supervisory experience and at least 3 years in construction management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or related field preferred.
• 14+ years construction supervisory experience required, with at least 3 years of previous construction manager experience.
• OSHA Training and pre-employment onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site subcontractor activities to meet CPM schedule and subcontract requirements.
• Manage project budget, schedule recovery plans, and handover of start-up packages.
• Maintain client interface, review procured materials, and oversee safety, quality and progress reporting.
• Lead weekly subcontractor meetings and ensure timely information to Project Controls.
