Job summary

SAVI EHS is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead night shift safety on a large construction project in Fayetteville, GA. The role requires coordinating with project teams and contractors to enforce safety standards and regulatory compliance during nighttime operations.

The position calls for 5–7 years of EHS experience on construction sites, OSHA certifications, and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of construction EHS experience.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards (29 CFR 1926).
• Demonstrated experience conducting field inspections, audits, incident investigations, and safety training.
• Experience managing subcontractor and trade partner safety performance.
• Ability to independently manage EHS responsibilities during night shift operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide EHS leadership and oversight for all assigned night shift construction operations.
• Maintain a strong field presence throughout the shift.
• Conduct daily/nightly safety inspections, audits, and field observations.
• Identify unsafe conditions, behaviors, and work practices and ensure timely corrective action.
• Monitor subcontractors and trade partners for compliance with safety requirements and OSHA standards.
• Review DHAs, JHAs, pre-task plans, and high-risk activity planning.
• Coordinate with project leadership regarding upcoming work activities and safety risks.
• Provide oversight of high-risk activities such as working from heights and lifting operations.
