Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies is seeking a Pipe Superintendent to mobilize to Newnan, GA for a combined cycle construction project. The role requires leading union supervision and coordinating direct hire and subcontractor activities on site.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence while mentoring subordinate supervisors and aligning with project goals. The position demands extensive field leadership and strong communication with craft teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience as a Superintendent or Construction Manager on equivalent projects.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and subcontractor interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Assist Construction Manager in ensuring adherence to safety, quality, ethical standards, and performance programs.
• Monitor CPM schedule, track progress, and report on schedule activities.
• Coordinate with craft, subcontractors, and field engineers to meet project requirements.
• Develop and monitor 3 Week Look Ahead Schedule and corrective plans.
• Mentor and train other discipline superintendents and foremen.
• Ensure compliance with local union agreements and site requirements.
