Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies seeks a seasoned Construction Manager to lead on-site subcontractor activities, enforce CPM schedule compliance, and drive project execution on a Cartersville, GA site. You will mentor superintendents, manage budgets, and coordinate with field and home office teams to ensure safe, timely project delivery.

Responsibilities include coordinating change orders, equipment rentals, and weekly progress meetings, while upholding safety, quality, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant field experience required.
• 14+ years construction supervisory experience required, with at least 3 years of construction manager experience.
• OSHA Training is required.
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, MVR) as per laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manages and coordinates all on-site subcontractor activities and enforces compliance with CPM schedule.
• Directs subcontractor schedule recovery plans and oversees start-up handover and punch list closure.
• Represents safety program on site and leads the safety, quality, and performance management routines.
• Writes the construction portion of client and project monthly reports and supports change management with accurate tracking.
