Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist to supervise all compounding activities in the lab and ensure high-quality, compliant compounded medications. You will lead pharmacy technicians, perform checks, document procedures, and assist in training and regulatory matters.

This role reports to the Head Compounding Pharmacist and Pharmacist-in-Charge. This position emphasizes patient safety, quality, and adherence to federal and Arizona pharmacy regulations, with a $9/hour shift differential

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree or PharmD and licensed in AZ.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Experience with compounding and laboratory safety.
• Ability to supervise technicians and maintain SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise compounding personnel and QA/QC checks.
• Document compounding procedures and dispensing records.
• Verify records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
• Train and evaluate compounding staff.
• Maintain equipment calibration and environmental controls in the lab.
• Adhere to USP, BOP, and internal guidelines for compounded medications.
• Ensure safety and PPE use in line with USP <800> and laws.
• Perform patient counseling and pharmacist duties as needed.
• Collaborate with PIC on regulatory matters.
• Participate in CQI initiatives and audits.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy

Active Pharmacist License in Arizona

Multi-state licensure is preferred
