Job summary

Peet’s Coffee, Inc. is seeking a Production Technician for 1st shift in Brooklyn Center, MN. You will operate roasting and packaging equipment, perform quality checks, and help maintain a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, about 1 year of production experience, basic math and computer skills, and willingness to work OT including Saturdays. Preference given to candidates with coffee industry or food manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of production experience as a machine technician or in operations leadership.
• Ability to read and understand production documents and safety manuals.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate roasting, grinding, or packaging equipment to meet production schedules.
• Maintain safety and food safety standards; perform QA monitoring and keep records.
• Train and supervise Production Team Members and temporary workers.
• Communicate equipment faults to Engineering for immediate repair or preventive maintenance.
