Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Bismarck, ND is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time night shifts. You will provide resident-centered care, assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and document care under RN supervision.

The role requires CNA certification with state board, or enrollment in a training program, plus 16+ years old and ongoing continuing education annually. A sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• CNA certification required or obtained within four months of hire.
• Minimum age of 16 with prior long-term care experience preferred.
• 12 hours continuing education required annually.
• May be eligible for Sanford Driving Policy if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Record vital signs and document resident interactions and outcomes.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and range-of-motion activities.
• Support meal preparation and dining to create a positive dining experience.
• Communicate changes to the charge nurse and participate in activities as needed.
