Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Bismarck, ND is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for part-time night shifts. The NA provides resident-centered care, assists with daily living activities, and supports the long‑term care team under supervision.

A CNA certification is required or in progress, with GED or high school diploma preferred. Responsibilities include vital signs, transfers, meals, and documenting care in the resident’s plan while following infection control policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required or in process.
• GED or high school diploma preferred.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical experience in long-term care preferred.
• Annual continuing education as required by facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Record vital signs and assist with transferring, mobility and ROM exercises.
• Assist with meals, bathing, grooming, and activities of daily living.
• Document resident interactions and report changes to RN/charge nurse.
• Participate in infection control and safety policies; assist with care plans.
