Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Bismarck, ND is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time night shifts. You will provide resident-centered care under the supervision of a registered nurse, assisting with daily living activities and vital signs.

The role includes helping with transfers, mobility, bathing, and meals, while following infection control policies and care plans. A CNA certification is required, with facility-provided training as needed; CE credits are required yearly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of start date, provided by facility.
• Annual continuing education requirements of 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, vital signs, and psychosocial support.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, ROM, and mobility using proper techniques.
