Job summary

Good Samaritan in Bismarck, ND is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor residents, and support the nursing team under an RN's supervision.

A CNA certification is required or in progress, with ongoing education credits each year. The role is full-time with 8-hour night shifts, 36.25 hours per week, and a potential sign-on bonus of $5,000.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required (state Board or in process) with facility-provided training.
• Minimum age 16; prior clinical or nursing assistant experience preferred.
• Yearly continuing education credits requirement: minimum 12 hours annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding and mobility for residents.
• Document interactions, monitor vital signs, and report changes to charge nurse.
