Job summary

Banner Health in Tucson is seeking a Night Shift CNA for the Med/Surg 7W unit. The role provides routine patient care, handles data collection, and supports the care team to maintain efficient unit operations. Shifts are 3 x 12 hours with weekend rotations and holiday coverage.

Qualified candidates hold a CNA in-state, a current BLS, and have solid patient-care and documentation skills. A comprehensive benefits package is offered with differential pay for weekends and nights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in state of practice.
• CNA required for new hires in Tucson.
• Medical terminology knowledge and computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care to promote comfort and contribute to the plan of care.
• Collect vital signs, input/output, and document in medical records.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Assist with procedures and use of equipment under supervision.
• Support receptionist/clerical duties and ensure smooth department operations.
• Maintain complete patient records and ensure proper charting and filing.
